Brass Sounds Inverclyde win in Perth!

Updated: Mar 20, 2022

The band, under the baton of MD Joshua Parkhill, won the Scottish Brass Band Championships 4th section with its performance of Argos at the Concert Hall in Perth.

The band, along with Stranraer Brass who finished 2nd, have qualified for the National Finals, which will be held in Cheltenham in September 2022.

A special mention goes to our Solo Euphonium player, Isaac Parkhill, who also won Best Instrumentalist on the day.

We thank our MD, Joshua Parkhill, for his leadership and the work that he has put into fine tuning our performance - especially as this was his first time conducting in a Regional Contest!

Finally, we would like to congratulate all the bands over the whole weekend, and thank the Scottish Brass Band Association for organising the event.
